Editorial and Publication Policy
The standards used to decide whether a resource is useful, accurate, distinct and ready to publish.
Audience and usefulness
Copy is written primarily for Australian OSHC and vacation-care educators. Every public page should provide something complete and useful: a usable resource, a working tool, a practical planning answer or a clear policy. Word count is not used as a substitute for usefulness.
Accuracy and claims
Factual material uses authoritative sources where appropriate. Framework links describe possible contributions and observable practice; they do not claim formal approval or automatic compliance. Resources do not promise educational, therapeutic or behavioural outcomes.
Originality
Instructions, layouts and site copy must be original to the project or used under an appropriate licence. A spelling change, singular or plural form, or colour variation does not justify publishing a separate page with substantially the same activity.
Human review
Checks identify missing files, repeated copy, unsupported claims and possible intellectual-property concerns. A person reviews those issues before publication. Material made with the help of AI is also checked for visual quality, copyright concerns and practical usefulness.
Advertising separation
The website uses Google AdSense. Advertising must remain visually separate from navigation, download buttons, generator controls and resource instructions. Printable files, downloaded PDFs and error messages do not contain advertising. Ad placement settings must keep generator work areas and results clear.
Corrections and review dates
Material changes update the review date. The corrections policy explains how to report an issue. Older resources may be reviewed again, combined with a stronger page or removed when they no longer meet the standard.
